Portland Fire Dragon Boat Club, simply known as Portland Fire, is founded in 2023 by a group of boating enthusiasts. What started as a new, just-for-fun team has grown into a competitive dragon boat racing team.
From March through October, we train on the Willamette River, bringing energy to the local waterfront and promoting the sport of dragon boat racing. Our mission is to support amateur competition at the local, national, and international levels, while encouraging participation for all ages and building a strong, inclusive dragon boat community.
